Mount Carmel - George LaSavage, 61, of 301 South Market Street, passed away suddenly Thursday, August 24, 2017 in his residence.

Born in Allentown on August 17, 1956 he was the son of the late John and Anna (Balent) LaSavage. He was a graduate of Pennsbury High School in Fairless Hills.

At the time of his death George was employed as a machine operator at Tri-State Envelope in Ashland.

Survivors include two brothers and a sister, John LaSavage Jr. of New Hope, PA; Kathryn Walther and her husband Albert of Fairless Hills and Thomas LaSavage and his wife Eileen of Kulpmont as well as several nieces and nephews.

George LaSavage, 61, of 301 South Market Street, Mount Carmel - Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont with Father Andrew Stahmer, officiating.  Burial will be in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Marion Heights.  Viewing will be held Tuesday morning from 9:00 - 10:45 with transferal prayers at 10:00 in the C.J.
