Mount Carmel – Geraldine Zvoncheck, 83, of 465 W. Saylor St., passed away on September 4, 2023, at her residence.

She was born in Shamokin on April 1, 1940, the daughter of the late Jerome and Florence (Smink) Noll.

Geraldine was a graduate of St. Edward's High School, class of 1958.

On September 24, 1960, she married the late John M. Zvoncheck in St. Stanislaus Church, Shamokin.

She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church.

Geraldine is survived by two daughters, Maryanne Bridges and husband, Marty and Amy Swatsky and husband, Sean; two sons, Tim Zvoncheck and wife, Linda and Jeff Zvoncheck and wife, Lorrie; grandchildren, Joshua Kehres, Lauren Nieves and husband, Will, Brendan Zvoncheck and wife, Megan, Clarie Ruetty and husband, Mitch, Timothy Zvoncheck, Zachary Zvoncheck, Bryson Zvoncheck, Isabel Swatsky, Abigail Swatsky, and Nathan Swatsky; and great-grandchildren, Aria Nieves, Elijah Nieves, Mia Nieves, and Cormac Ruetty. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A Divine Liturgy will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 11 a.m. with Very Reverend Archpriest Michal Hutsko officiating in SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 131 N. Beech St., Mt. Carmel. Burial will follow in Patronage of the Mother of God Cemetery, Marion Heights. There will be no viewing.
