Gloria Marie Berrigan

Sunbury – Gloria Marie (Pinamonti) Berrigan, 96, of 536 Old Reading Rd., passed away on September 24, 2026, at her residence.

She was born on August 22, 1930, in Mount Carmel, to Dominick A. and Anna (Remetta) Pinamonti.

Gloria was a 1947 graduate of Mount Carmel Catholic High School. She worked as an aide at Willow Brook State School in Staten Island, NY. In 1985, she moved to Elysburg.

On April 14, 1952, in Baltimore, MD, she married Thomas Berrgian who preceded her in death on May 1, 2011.

Gloria was a member of Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church. She was a devoted Catholic and was true to her faith. Gloria enjoyed shopping, dancing, and going on trips to the casino. She was a very organized person who enjoyed cleaning and keeping a tidy house. Gloria will be remembered as an extraordinary mother and grandmother.

Gloria is survived by two sons, Michael Berrigan and Thomas Berrigan; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Gloria was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Zylowski; and two brothers, William and Dominick Pinamonti.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at noon in the C J Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mt. Carmel, PA 17851, C J Lucas IV, Supervisor. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Mount Carmel Funeral Home.
