Mount Carmel – Gloria M. Tresca, 74, formerly of 319 W. 5th St., passed away on October 26, 2025, at Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.

She was born on April 5, 1951, to her parents, Donato "Danny" R. and Lena E. (Mucci) Tresca.

Gloria was a lifelong resident of the Mount Carmel area and a graduate of Mount Carmel High School, Class of 1969. She worked as a custodian for the Mount Carmel School District until her retirement.

Gloria was a member of Divine Redeemer Church and a supporter of Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital. She loved attending class reunions, going to town, and shopping. Gloria always remembered birthdays and special occasions by sending cards to friends and family. She enjoyed talking on the phone to her numerous friends. She was a loyal and treasured friend to many, and the stories and laughter she shared will be remembered forever.

Gloria is survived by a cousin, Dennis Tresco of Atlas. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Tresca.

A special thank you to the kind, compassionate staff at Mt. Carmel Assisted Living, Nursing Home, and Hospice for taking such good care of Gloria.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. with Father Bernard Wamayose, A.J., officiating in Divine Redeemer Church, Mt. Carmel. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Twp. Viewing will be held on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. with Transferal Prayers at 9:30 a.m. in the C J Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mt. Carmel, PA, C J Lucas IV, Supervisor. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
