Danville – Helen C. (Cort) Gudleski, 90, of 11 School House Rd., passed away September 20, 2021 at Emmanuel Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born on April 30, 1931 in Mount Carmel, the daughter of the late Julian "Lewis" and Bronislawa (Prezkop) Cort.

Helen attended school in Mount Carmel. She worked as a seamstress in a local garment factory.

On October 15, 1955, she married Daniel Gudleski in Mount Carmel.

Helen was a member of the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Helen is survived by a daughter, Patrice Jordan and husband, Alexander of Danville; two sons, Gregory Gudleski and wife, Rebecca of NY and Daniel Gudleski and wife, Bonita of Mount Carmel; two granddaughters, Gabrielle DeBach of Elysburg and Giuliana Gudleski of NY; a grandson, Matthew Gudleski of NY; a great-grandson, Julian DeBach of Elysburg; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, Helen was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Henry Cort and wife, Barbara and Anthony Cort; and three sisters, Lillian Paskevich, Rose Bolick and husband, Ed, and Gabriela Zawalich.

Helen C. (Cort) Gudleski, 90, of 11 School House Rd., Danville – Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 47 S. Market Street, Mount Carmel, with Father Francis Karwacki officiating. Burial will follow in Our Mother of Consolation Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Twp.
