Kulpmont - Helen T. Parker, 98, of 930 Pine Street, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in her residence, with her family at her side.

Born in Shamokin on November 24, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Walter L. and Helen C. (Zielinski) Godlewski. She attended St. Stanislaus School in Shamokin, she was raised in Shamokin and moved to Kulpmont in 1945.

She was employed as a seamstress at Shroyer's Dress Factory and Susan's Sportswear, she retired from the Arrow Shirt Factory in Elysburg.

On November 24, 1945 in Shamokin she married the late Clement Parker who preceded her in death on January 8, 1994.

Helen was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels, the Altar Rosary Society and St. Casimir's Pierogie and Donut organizations.

Survivors include three daughters, Susan E. Germick of Wyoming, PA; Rose Pisarz and her husband Peter of Kulpmont and Diana A. Lentini of Shamokin; and one son, Leonard A. Parker and his wife Jane Marie of Danville; four grandchildren, Amanda Werenedic and her husband Michael of Ashland; Corey Pisarz and his wife Jennifer of Kulpmont; Chelsea Lentini and Jayme Lentini both of Mount Carmel; four great grandsons, Nicholas and Noah Werenedic and Bailey and Brayden Pisarz;  as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Andrew Germick; twin sisters, Clara Godleski and Mildred Godleski, one brother Walter Godleski and a sister-in-law, Constance Godleski.

Helen T. Parker, 98, of 930 Pine Street, Kulpmont - Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont with Father Andrew Stahmer, officiating.  Burial will be in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Marion Heights.  Viewing will be held Tuesday morning from 9:00 - 10:45 with transferal prayers at 10:00 in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 1053 Chestnut Street, Kulpmont, C.J.
