Columbia, MD – Henry J. Klimowicz, 94, formerly of Mount Carmel, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Bryant Woods Manor, Columbia, MD.

He was born on December 21, 1927, the son of the late Joseph and Antonia (Kimsal) Klimowicz.

Henry was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School and attended McCann School of Business, Mahanoy City.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Henry later worked in the paint department for Mack Trucks, Allentown.

On June 18, 1955, Henry married Barbara J. Warsheski in the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

He was a member of the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the American Legion, West End A.C., and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 2110.

Henry is survived by two sons, John Klimowicz and Brian Klimowicz and wife, Allison; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents and wife, Henry was preceded in death by four sisters, Cecilia, Regina, Monica, and Helen (Infant); and five brothers, Joseph, Victor, Leonard, Francis, and Edward.

Henry J. Klimowicz, 94, of Mount Carmel – Funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 at 12 p.m. in the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 47 S. Market St., Mt. Carmel, PA with Father Francis Karwacki officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Beaverdale. Viewing will be held in the Church from 11 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
