Mount Carmel - Ida E. Bevivino, 89, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 at Mt. Carmel Senior Living Community.

She was born in Mount Carmel on November 6, 1932, the daughter of the late Bruno and Teresa (Calabretta) Bevivino.

Ida was a 1950 graduate of Mount Carmel Catholic High School, a 1956 graduate of the American Institute of Banking, and a 1983 graduate of Pennsylvania Trust School at Bucknell University. She served the community banking needs at Union National Bank for nearly 38 ½ years. She began her career with the bank on October 5, 1950 in the loan department. She served as treasurer of the Northumberland County Chapter of the American Institute of Banking in 1964, vice president in 1967, and county chapter president in 1968. She was appointed Assistant Cashier in 1966 and Assistant Trust Officer in 1980, taking over as Trust Officer in 1988. Ida was a member of the American Institute of Banking, the National Association of Bank Women, and the Soroptimist International of America. She was a licensed Real Estate agent since 1986, affiliated with Century 21 Covered Bridges Realty Inc. since March of 1991. She was awarded S.R.I. designation in 1990. Ida attended the Institute of Real Estate Studies and earned a broker's license. She was a member of the National Association of Realtors, Pennsylvania Association of Realtors, and the Central Susquehanna Valley Board of Realtors.

She was a member of Divine Redeemer Church.

Ida is survived by a sister, Brunina Reilley and husband, Michael Reilley Jr. of Elysburg; three nephews, J. Perry Bevivino and wife, Elaine of York, Michael Reilley III and wife, Michelle of Ashland, and Patrick Reilley and wife, Anyela of Numidia; three nieces, Louise Beer and husband, Kevin of Mechanicsburg, Ellen Filardo and companion, Doug Frange of Camp Hill; and Suzanne Reilley of Mount Carmel; two great nephews, Michael Reilley IV and Joey Bevivino; two great nieces, Christina Reilley and Annalise Reilley; and a sister-in-law, Mary Bevivino of Mount Carmel. Ida was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Joseph Pierino Bevivino and Peter Bevivino; three sisters, Marianna Filardo and husband, Francis, Josephine Bevivino, and Elvira Filardo and husband, Sal; and a niece, Yvonne Filardo (Infant).

Ida E. Bevivino, 89, of Mount Carmel - Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Ryan Fischer officiating in the Divine Redeemer Church, 300 West Avenue, Mount Carmel. Burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Twp. Viewing will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 from 6 – 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. with Transferal Prayers at 10:00 a.m. in the C. J.
