Kulpmont – Jacqueline (Marder) Butler, died May 6, 2026, at the age of 98 ½ years old, at Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital.

She was born on November 6, 1927, to her parents, Louis and Rose (Fine) Marder.

Jackie lived in Massachusetts most of her life. She worked at several famous restaurants in the Boston Area, the last being Anthony's Pier 4, where many famous actors and athletes dined. Jackie moved to Kulpmont several years ago. She worked for Dottie Lentini, tended bar at the VFW, and she also worked in the foster grandparent program for the Mount Carmel School District, where she was known affectionately as Nana Jackie.

Jackie was the last original tenant to live at Timberwood Apartments. She loved going to the casino, playing Bingo, and watching sports, especially her teams from Boston. She also enjoyed following her grandkids, when they were younger, and her great-grandkids in the sports they played.

Jackie was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Jackie is survived by a daughter, Ann Martino; sister, Barbara Jacobs; daughter-in-law, Lynda Goldstein; grandchildren, Anthony Martino, Lori-Ann (Bernie) Schwartz, Kimberley Martino (Fiancé Willy Bozack), Alison Martino, Stephanie Goldstein, Ronnie Wenzel, Bobby (Lisa) Wenzel; great-grandchildren, Colton Schwartz, Anthony Martino, Sierra "Rosie" Martino, Brooke Kenyon, Jake Wenzel, Max Wenzel, Amanda Wenzel, Veronica Wenzel; two nieces, Debbie Dauer and Sharon Jacobs; and a nephew, Howard Jacobs. In addition to her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund Butler; a son, Stephen Goldstein; a brother-in-law, Sidney Jacobs; a son-in-law, Tony Martino; a granddaughter-in-law, Sue Wenzel; and Alison's Fiancé, Nick Kenyon.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at noon with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont, PA. Visitation will be held on May 27, 2026, in the Church from 11 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
