On the afternoon of April 11, 2022, James Richard Kemper Jr. of Danville passed at age 59. James was born in 1962 to parents James Richard Kemper Sr. and Helen Rita Dombroski. He was raised in Kulpmont by James Sr. and Patricia Kemper. He attended Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School and graduated with the class of 1980. In 1982 he married and went on to have two children, Joshua Kemper and Heather Hess. James, or Jim or Jimmy, as his friends and loved ones knew him, loved the outdoors. He was an Eagle Scout, enjoyed working, and building things with his own two hands. He had a great heart and would give the shirt off his back, even if it meant he would be without. Jim is preceded in death by his father James Sr and his mother, Helen. He is survived by his children Josh and Heather, and Leroy and Melissa, who he treated as if they were his own, his two brothers Mark and Greg, and his step-mother, Patricia. There will be no services as it was not Jim's wishes. He did not want people to be sad in his death by be happy in the completion of life.
