Mount Carmel- Jane M. (Harner) Kaminski, 90, passed away on July 20, 2022 at Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Shamokin on April 7, 1932, the daughter of Calvin and Ruth (Latshaw) Harner.

Jane was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School. She was employed as a clerk at White Shield and the former Rite Aid in Mount Carmel.

On November 18, 1950 in Mount Carmel, she married John Kaminski, who preceded her in death on December 3, 2016.

Jane was a member of Divine Redeemer Church, formerly Our Mother of Consolation Church.

Jane is survived by two sons, John "Jack" Kaminski and companion, Connie of Trevorton and Paul Kaminski and wife, Joanne of Mount Carmel; a daughter, Barbara Smith and husband, Mark of Coal Township; a grandson, Robert Kaminski; a granddaughter, Kelly Kaminski; a grandson, Brian Kaminski and wife, Michelle; a grandson, Jeff Kaminski; a great-grandson, Connor Kaminski; two great-granddaughters, Caileigh Kaminski and Avery Kaminski; a sister-in-law, Helen Kaminski of Mount Carmel; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Jane was preceded in death by father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ben and Helen Kaminski; a brother John Lasko; and a sister, Martha Schiffert.

A Graveside Service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in care of C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc. at 27 N. Vine St., Mt. Carmel, C.J. Lucas IV, supervisor.
