OBITUARY

Atlas - Janice A Kozlowski, 66, of 487 W. Saylor Street, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019, at Geisinger -Shamokin Area Community Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Born in Shamokin on July 21, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Unterreiner) Kozlowski.

Janice graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School class of 1970. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, and retired after 45 years of service.

Janice was a member of Divine Redeemer Church.  She loved her family and her church.  Janice also enjoyed going to the casino and watching game shows.

Janice was survived by her three sisters, Mary Ann Delorso, MD,  Sister Teresa Vincent, IHM, Coal Township; and Patricia Janovich, Coal Township; two brothers, James Kozlowski, Atlas, Walter Kozlowski, Atlas; two nieces, Michelle McMurtrie, Coal Township and Denise Migliaccio and her husband Frank, MD; a nephew, Anthony Delorso, MD; two great nieces, Jessica McMurtrie and Gianna Delorso; two great nephews, Dominic Delorso and River Delorso.  She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother, William Kozlowski, two brother in laws, Anthony Delorso and William Janovich, and nephew in law, Robbie McMurtrie.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Janice A. Kozlowski, 66, of 487 W. Saylor Street - Funeral mass will be held Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Divine Redeemer Church, 300 West Third Street, Mount Carmel, with Father Ryan Fischer, officiating. Burial will be held in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. Viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:00 - 10:45 a.m. with transferal prayers at 10:00 a.m. in the C J Lucas Funeral Home, 27 N. Vine Street, Mount Carmel, C.J Lucas IV, Supervisor.
