Kulpmont – Jean Marie (Berry) Adams, 66, of 858 Pine Street, passed away January 26, 2022 at her residence.

She was born in Berwick on March 7, 1955, the daughter of Fred and Helen (Burns) Berry.

Jean attended school in Mount Carmel. She worked as a tax consultant for H&R Block and also as a ticket booth attendant for Knoebel's Amusement Resort.

On March 29, 1980, she married Calvin L. Adams in Shamokin, who preceded her in death in 2004.

Jean was a member of the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. She enjoyed playing Bingo, spending time with her family, and looked forward to going to Ocean City, MD. She loved her fur baby, Jasper.

Jean is survived by two sons, Calvin Joseph Adams and wife, Melinda of Kulpmont and Matthew Adams and life partner, Angela Catzin of Kulpmont; three grandsons, Anthony Fickenger, Michael Fickenger, and Keegan Adams; two granddaughters, Amber Fred Guss and husband, Jacob and Kiana Adams; a great-grandson, Isaiah Doak; a great-granddaughter, Izzy Guss; a brother, James Berry and wife, Meriam of Spring Mills; a sister-in-law, Betty Wynn of Sunbury; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, Jean was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Adams; an infant grandson; a brother, Joe Berry; a sister-in-law, Roberta Novicenskie; and two brothers-in-law, Eddie and Harold.

Jean Marie (Berry) Adams, 66, of 858 Pine Street, Kulpmont – Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 10 a.m. with Father Francis Karwacki officiating in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine Street, Mt. Carmel, PA, C. J. Lucas IV, Supervisor. Burial will follow in Northumberland Memorial Park, Sunbury. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service in the Funeral Home.
