Mount Carmel – Jennifer J. Bozza, 45, of 245 East Ave. passed away August 30, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Shamokin Hospital on September 9, 1976, the daughter of the late Joseph Bozza and Irene (Wagner) Swetra, who survives. Jennifer was a graduate of Shamokin Area High School, class of 1994. She was a former resident of Shamokin and Coal Township area before moving to Mount Carmel.

Jennifer was a member of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed camping, Casino trips, watching the TV show "Friends", listening to 80's music, and spending time with her beloved dog, Emmitt. Jennifer was a member of the Clover Hose Fire Co, Mt. Carmel, Atlas Legion, Kulpmont Sportsman's Club, and the West End Fire Co., Kulpmont. She was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings and Florida State Football.

Jennifer is survived by her mother and step-father, Irene Swetra and Lawrence of Coal Twp.; daughter, Gabriella Trocki of Mt. Carmel; step-mother, Alexis Bozza of Mt. Carmel; fiancé, Dave Berry of Mount Carmel; Dave's mother, Eileen McCarthy of Atlas; Dave's father, Bob Berry and wife, Connie of Shamokin; Dave's sister, Lisa Fiamoncini and husband, Dave of Atlas; Dave's brother, Jason McCarthy and wife, Lisa of Paxinos; two brothers, Shawn Bozza and wife, Melissa of Ralph Twp. and Richard Bozza and wife, Nicole of Coal Twp.; goddaughter, Jada Lee of Kulpmont; beloved dog, Emmitt; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Bozza; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bozza Sr., maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Myron Wagner; step-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Swetra; and best friend, Debbie Kanowicz.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine Street, Mt. Carmel, C. J. Lucas IV, Supervisor. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Twp. Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service in the Funeral Home.
