Mount Carmel – Jesse J. Huber, 61, of 233 West Butternut St. passed away on April 22, 2024, at Temple Health Chestnut Hill Hospital.

He was born in Reading on September 10, 1962, the son of David Huber Sr. and Sandra (Cooperstein) Huber.

Jesse was born and raised in Reading and was a graduate of Reading High School. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. and was honorably discharged in 1979. For the past ten years, Jesse lived in the Mount Carmel area. He worked in maintenance at Knoebel's Amusement Resort.

Jesse was a member of the Christian Faith.

Jesse is survived by four daughters, Michelle Flory of Mohnton, Jessica Huber of Mt. Carmel, Alice Selig of Mt. Carmel, and Sarah Selig of Philadelphia; a son, Cotye Huber of Mt. Carmel; significant other, Sharon Selig of Mt. Carmel; two brothers, Frank A. Huber of Oley and Clint E. Huber of Oley; and three grandchildren, Ian Flory, Ryan Hafer, and Lily Larkin; as well as various nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by two brothers, David Huber Jr. and William Huber.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 7 p.m. with Rev. Joan Brown officiating in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine Street, Mt. Carmel, C. J. Lucas IV, Supervisor. Visitation will be held on May 2, 2024, from 4 p.m. until the time of the service in the Funeral Home.
