Kulpmont - Joan F. (Luberecki) Bolick, of 741 Chestnut Street, passed away with her husband, Bernard at her side, Thursday, September 21, 2017, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Shamokin she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sophie (Fukaczewski) Luberecki. Joan was a graduate of Coal Township High School.

Joan was employed as a seamstress/department manager in various local garment industries and later worked as a baker in the grocery industry.

On October 16, 1982 in St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, Shamokin, she married Bernard J. Bolick, who survives.

She was a member of Church of the Holy Angels, Kulpmont, Jan Sobieski Club where she was President of the auxiliary, a member of the Kulpmont Sportsman Association and a member of the ILGW Union.

In addition to her husband, Bernard, Joan is survived by two brothers, Edward Lubereski, Ogden, UT and Francis Luberecki and his wife Maxine of Linden, NJ; a brother-in-law, Martin Bolick and his fiancé Connie Litchko of Coal Township as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews and cousins.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Julia Blair, Clara Luberecki, Frances Rogers and her husband John J., Sophie Marchetti and her husband Vincent and Carol Luberecki, her brothers, Alexander "F.J." Luberecki and his wife Rose and Joseph Luberecki and his wife Frances and a sister-in-law, Grace Lubereski

FUNERAL NOTICE

Joan F. Bolick, of 741 Chestnut Street, Kulpmont - Funeral Mass will be held Monday, September 25, 2017 at 12:30 pm in Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont with Father Andrew Stahmer, officiating.  Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg, PA Viewing will be held Monday from 9:00 am - 12:15 with transferal prayers at 11:30 in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 1053 Chestnut Street, Kulpmont, PA C. J.
