Kulpmont – John Goodeliunas, 67, of 738 Chestnut Street passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Shamokin on July 9, 1954, the son of Joseph and Tessie (Dudutis) Goodeliunas.

John was a 1972 graduate of Mount Carmel High School. He worked as a forklift mechanic in the Air Force and later was employed as a distribution worker at the New Cumberland Army Depot from 1980 - 2010.

He was a member of the West End Fire Company, Polish Club in Kulpmont, Jan Sobieski Club, and the East End Fire Co. John was a fan of the Phillies, Eagles, and Penn State Football and Baseball. He was a great mechanic.

John is survived by his brother, Peter Goodeliunas Sr. and wife, Rose of Kulpmont; nephew, Peter Goodeliunas Jr.  and companion, Kelly; niece, Heather Betsill and husband, David of MD; and four great nieces, Kaede Goodeliunas, Madelyn Betsill, Savannah Betsill, and Lucy Goodeliunas. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Goodeliunas; and niece, Marlee Reed.

John Goodeliunas, 67, of 738 Chestnut Street, Kulpmont – Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kulpmont. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made payable to Church of the Holy Angels at 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont, PA 17834.
