Mount Carmel – Joseph Kornaski, 72, 515 East Ave., passed away on December 6, 2023, at his residence.

He was born in Shamokin on May 16, 1951, the son of Joseph and Lucy (Lapinski) Kornaski.

Joseph was a graduate of Mount Carmel High School, class of 1969. He worked as a structural steel painter.

Joseph is survived by a brother, Jan Kornaski and wife, Linda of Mount Carmel; a sister, Mary Ellen Vincenzes and husband, Leonard of Mount Carmel; four nieces; a nephew; and several cousins.

Funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in care of C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine Street, Mt. Carmel, PA 17851, C. J. Lucas IV, supervisor.
