Kulpmont - Joseph A. Krovitskie, 84, a lifelong resident of Kulpmont, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2017 in Virginia with his family by his side.

Born in Kulpmont on November 30, 1932 he was the son of the late Stanley and Agnes (Narcavage) Krovitskie. He attended Kulpmont schools and was a member of Holy Angels Parish Kulpmont.

He worked at the Pepsi Cola bottling company in Mt. Carmel as an auto mechanic for 19 years and Paper Magic in Elysburg as a machine mechanic for 12 years where he retired.

He was a loving father and grandfather. His grandchildren were his world.  He enjoyed spending time working on his cars and gardening, relaxing on the porch, and making his favorite old time recipes.  He was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and liked watching WWE wrestling.

He was married on March 20, 1982 to the former Alma Kane, who survives.

In addition to his wife, survivors include 4 daughters, Karen Green & husband Robert, Kimberly Pogera & husband John, Jennifer Moser & husband Ryan, and Janell Krovitskie & husband Norman Reedus; 14 grandchildren, Bobby, Dj, Leah, MaKayla, Megan, Landon & Braden Green, Steven, Luke & Taylor Haladay, Rylie Krovitskie, Vincent, Kamden and Braelyn Moser; a sister, Honey Landis of New Jersey; a sister-in-law, Geraldine Krovitksie of Pottstown, PA and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Leo Krovitskie and a sister Eleanor Walters (Krovitskie)

FUNERAL NOTICE

Joseph A. Krovitskie, 84, a lifelong resident of Kulpmont - Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 28, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont with Father Andrew Stahmer, officiating.  Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.  Viewing will be held Monday, August 28 from 9:00 - 10:45 with transferal prayers at 10:00 in the C.J.
