Kulpmont - Joseph F. Sheganoski, 65, of 925 Spruce Street, died suddenly Sunday, September 23, 2018 at home.

Born in Ashland on June 20, 1953, he was the son of the late Joseph and Irene (Nemeth) Sheganoski. He was a 1971 graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School.

He was employed by Local 520 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union.

On August 17, 1979 in the former Holy Cross Church, Mount Carmel he married the former Regina Swaboski, who survives.

Joe was a member of Holy Angels Church, Kulpmont, He was a former member of the East End Fire Company where he previously served as Captain, he was a Boy Scout and Cub Scout leader and worked at church socials.

Pop-pop was loving and present in his grandchildren's lives.  We will miss you and you will be forever in our hearts.

In addition to his wife, Regina, he is survived by two children, Lisa Connelly and her husband Patrick of CT; and Jerry Sheganoski of Kulpmont; two granddaughters, Abigail Sheganoski and Teagan Connelly, two grandsons, Jeremiah Sheganoski and Rory Connelly; two sisters, Antoinette McDevitt and her husband Carl and Theresa Marazas and her husband David, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Joseph F. Sheganoski, 65, of 925 Spruce Street, Kulpmont - Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 28, 2018 at 11:00 am in Holy Angels Church, 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont with Father Andrew Stahmer, officiating.  Burial will be in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Marion Heights.  Viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 with a prayer service at 7:15 and Friday morning from 9:30 - 10:45 with transferal prayers at 10:00 in the C.J.
