Mount Carmel – Josephine M. (James) Horan, 62, 401 W. 2 ^nd Street, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at her residence.

She was born in Altoona on November 21, 1958, the daughter of Joseph and Patricia (Marquardt) James.

Josephine was a graduate of Mount Carmel Area Highschool and worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for the VA Hospital in Lebanon.

She was married to Andrew John Horan, who preceded her in death in 2011.

Josephine was a member of the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

Josephine is survived by a son, Eric Horan of Mt. Carmel; a daughter, Sarah Zamudio of Elizabethtown; three grandsons, Ayden Patrick Horan, Camren Zamudio and Dylan Crawford; two granddaughters, Makayla Zamudio and Alycia Zamudio; a sister, Linda Wolfgang and husband, Ray of Mt. Carmel; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; and a brother, Clayton James.
