Virginia - Julia M. Yablonski, 82, of the Heritage Hunt Retirement Community, Gainesville, Virginia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 12, 2018.

Julia was born in Marion Heights, PA in 1936, the daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Pristosh) Molesevich.  She graduated from Kulpmont High School in 1953 and became a registered x-ray technician in 1957.  She went on to obtain her Associates Degree at Somerset Community College, New Jersey in 1987.

She worked as an x-ray technician, a mom, an executive secretary for AT&T International and a hospital volunteer, with Mom and Grandma being her most cherished roles. She was a devoted Mahjong player and friend.  She was a member of The Epiphany of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church in Annandale, Virginia.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and spouse of 60 years, Edward Yablonski; son Mark Yablonski; daughter Karen Carroll and son-in-law Bill Carroll, beloved grandchildren Emily Carroll and Ryan Carroll, brother Joseph Molesevich and wife Patricia Molesevich, cousin Bill Wootton and Sharon Cox, cousin Stephanie Fiala and many dear nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn Ferrari.  She leaves behind many friends from her time in Pennsylvania, Texas, New Jersey and Virginia.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Julia M. Yablonski, 82, of the Heritage Hunt Retirement Community, Gainesville, Virginia - Ukrainian Catholic Parastas service will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 11:00 am in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 27 North Vine Street, Mount Carmel, PA with the Very Reverend Archpriest Michael Hutsko, officiating. Burial will follow the service in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. Viewing will be held Tuesday morning from 10:00 until the time of the service in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 27   North Vine Street, Mount Carmel, C.J.
