Mount Carmel - June Natalewicz, 97, formerly of 108 Liberty Street, Atlas, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.

Born in Newark, NJ on June 22, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Edna (Bergey) Peraldo.  June was raised and resided in Paterson, NJ until 1974 when she moved to Atlas.  She was employed as a lab technician for DuPont and GTE.

On October 23, 1953 in St. Mary's Church, Paterson, NJ, she married the late Walter Natalewicz, who preceded her in death on March 7, 1992.

June was a 1941 graduate of Paterson Central High School and attended Paterson State College in Paterson, NJ.  She was a former member of St. Paul's Chapel in Atlas, now a member of Divine Redeemer Church, Mount Carmel and the Paulinarians and the Altar Rosary Society.

Survivors include a brother, Leon Peraldo and his wife Linda of Las Vegas, NV; two sisters, Edna Cacchioli and her husband Paul of FL; and Edythe Husted of Virginia Beach, VA; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and two grandchildren Lucas and Lee Amarose.

June Natalewicz, 97, formerly of 108 Liberty Street, Atlas - Funeral Mass will be held Friday, August 18, 2017 at 11:00 am in Divine Redeemer Church, 300 West Avenue, Mount Carmel with Father Martin O. Moran III, officiating.  Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.  Viewing will be held Friday morning from 9:00 - 10:30 with transferal prayers at 10:00 in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 27 North Vine Street, Mount Carmel.
