Mount Carmel – Leona M. Dallago, 85, of 231 W Ave, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at Grandview Nursing Home in Danville.

Born in Mount Carmel on March 11, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Elsie (Mazurkivich) Rawa. She graduated from Mount Carmel High School in 1952.

On November 3, 1956 in Mother of Consolation Church in Mount Carmel she married Louis Dallago, who preceded her in death. She retired from Geisinger Medical Center in Danville after 30 years where she was a medical tech in the dermatology clinic. She also worked as a book keeper for Lake Land Bus Company in Dover, New Jersey.

Leona was an avid Bingo player, she enjoyed Casino trips with her daughter, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Leona is survived by a daughter, Donna Fallat and husband, John Jr of Mount Carmel; two grandsons, John Fallat III and companion, Dana Lex of Girardville, and Stephen Fallat and wife, Amber of Catawissa; a granddaughter, Stacy Picklo and husband, Michael of Mount Carmel; a granddaughter-in-law, Kristi Fallat; a great grandson, Hunter Fallat; a great granddaughter, Morgan Picklo; a sister, Virginia Bergamino of FL; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, Leona was preceded in death by her father-and-mother-in-law, Joseph and Antoinette (Bailoni) Dallago; two brothers, Alexander Rawa Jr., and Vincent Rawa and wife, Lucille; brother-in-law, Joseph Bergumino, Joseph Dallago, and Robert Dallago; a sister-in-law, Virginia DeSantis and husband, James; two step-brothers-in-law, Richard Bridy and John Dallago; and a step sister-in-law, Mary Scoz.
