Lillian A. Karycki, 86 of Camp Hill, Pa., passed away on December 18, 2022 at UPMC Mechanicsburg with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Kulpmont, Pa., on January 21st, 1936, the daughter of the late Michael and Tillie (Simcizen) Smigiel. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Rudy Smigiel of Bedford, Va. Lillian attended school in Kulpmont and later married Victor J. Karycki in Mt. Carmel, Pa. After her husband's death in 1976, she worked for the Pennsylvania Auditor's General Department until her retirement.

Lillian enjoyed watching Hallmark movies and listening to Elvis Presley on her back porch. She loved cats, enjoyed working in the yard, taking walks and shopping at the local shopping center. Whether stopping in to browse or to say hello on her daily visits, she was well known by many of the merchants. She enjoyed her weekly visits to Perkins for breakfast, ordering her favorite potato pancakes. She enjoyed the changing of the seasons and watching the leaves on her trees turn colors. Lillian enjoyed life, visits from family and friends, and especially talking on the phone to her grandchildren. Lillian would always find a way to make you laugh and smile. She was a firecracker and a tough cookie living her life the way she wanted.

Lillian is survived by her two sons, Victor J. Karycki III (wife Yurdagul) of Melbourne Fl., Michael A. Karycki (wife Karen) of Harrisburg, Pa., grandchildren, Victor J. Karycki IV (wife Natalie and their children Bruce and Blake), Dr. Melody K. Karycki, Rana D. Karycki, all of Florida, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer as celebrant in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 1053 Chestnut St., Kulpmont. Burial will follow in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Kulpmont. Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the service in the Funeral Home.
