Mount Carmel - Loretta (Foster) Angeli, 79, of 105 N. Hickory Street, passed away on January 13, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

She was born in Ashland on September 22, 1945, the daughter of Raymond and Kathryn (McElwee) Foster.

Loretta was a 1963 graduate of Lake Grove High School in New York.

On July 6, 1964, she married Kenneth R. Angeli Sr. in the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. They shared 55 years of marriage before his passing in 2019.

Loretta was a member of the former Primitive Methodist Church in Mt. Carmel until its closure and, more recently, was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Mt. Carmel.

Loretta had a caring and giving heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. She loved children and cherished life with her family.

Loretta is survived by three sons, William Angeli, Kenneth Angeli Jr. and his wife, Denise, and Jeffrey Angeli; two daughters, Jennifer Angeli and Sheila Martz; two grandsons, Gavin Angeli and significant other, Karly Wilk and Kyle Erdley and his wife, Victoria; a granddaughter, Brandi Allen and significant other, Alex Tomasino; two great-granddaughters, Kyleigh Tomasino and Haileigh Tomasino; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Leonardi; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Loretta was preceded by her parents, husband, and son, Raymond Angeli.

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 19th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Joan Brown officiating in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine Street, Mt. Carmel, C. J. Lucas IV, Supervisor. Visitation will be held on Sunday from noon until the time of the service in the Funeral Home. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church in care of Rev. Joan Brown at 100 N. Market St., Mt. Carmel, PA 17851.
