Kulpmont - Louise Diak, 91, of 564 Pine Street, died Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.

Born in Kulpmont on September 3, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Demetri and Anna (Haras) Diak. She was a graduate of Kulpmont High School.

Louise was employed as a private secretary at the Arrow Corporation until her retirement.

She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Mount Carmel, and a previous member of Assumption of the Mother of God Church in Marion Heights.

Survivors include a sister, Sue Gluchowski of Lancaster; five nephews, Gerald Gluchowski of Harrisburg; George Pupchock of Kulpmont; John Diak and his wife Kathy of Colorado; Donald Diak and his wife Pat of Dillsburg and Richard Bensen and his wife Lynn of North Carolina; three nieces, Nancy Cunningham of New Your; Beverly Gilotti and her husband Morris of Kulpmont and Mary Ann Linkey and her husband Harry of Lancaster; nine great nephews, Richard Benson, Robbi Benson, David Benson, Bryan Sommerville, John Diak Jr., Joe Diak, Robert Diak, Ronald Diak and Jeffrey Gilotti, six great nieces, Michelle Cunningham, Cheryl Trumpy, Lindsey Gilotti, Lesley Henery, Rachel Pupchock and Jennifer Pupchock as well as several great great nieces, great great nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Pupchock and her husband Joseph, Nellie McClintock and Marie Bensen and her husband David, two brothers, Joseph Diak and his wife Madeline and John Diak, a brother-in-law, Eugene Gluchowski, a niece, Lois Summerville and a nephew Robert McClintock.

Louise Diak, 91, of 564 Pine Street, Kulpmont - Divine Liturgy will be celebrated Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 11:00 am in SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 131 North Beech Street, Mount Carmel with Very Reverend Archpriest Michael Hutsko, officiating.  Burial will be in Patronage of Mother of God Cemetery, Marion Heights, Viewing will be held Wednesday morning from 9:30 - 10:45 with Panakhyda at 10:00 in the C.J.
