Marian Cecilia Horengic, 92, of 279 Buffalo Place, Rockledge, Florida, died on Thursday, January 5, 2023. She was the wife of Daniel Horengic.

She was born on November 26, 1930, the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Frank Arasin.

Marian was a graduate of Shamokin Area High School. She worked for the Naval Department, Washington D.C., the Navy Supply Depot, Mechanicsburg, PA, and the Hughes Aircraft Company, California. Marian loved to work at Masser's Restaurant, Paxinos, where she celebrated many wedding days with newlyweds. She was not shy to serve up food and marital advice. Affectionately known as 'Turkey' to all, she dispensed countless hugs and candy.

Marian was a member of Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Elysburg and Ascension Catholic Church, Melbourne FL.

In addition to her husband, Marian is survived by her children, Daniel F. Horengic, Maryann E. Biesack, and Michael J. Horengic; her sisters, Betty Wieskowiak and Audrey Driver; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Frank Arasin.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 11 a.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating in the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 599 W. Center St. Elysburg. Burial will follow in the Patronage of the Mother of God Cemetery, Marion Heights. Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass in Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Parish Center.
