Marilyn Keeler, formerly of Mifflinburg, PA passed away on August 8, 2024, after a brief illness.

Born on November 5, 1945, in Washington, D.C., Marilyn attended Kutztown University, graduating with a degree in Education, with a specialization in Spanish. In her career as a Spanish teacher at Mifflinburg Area High School, she enjoyed guiding new groups of students to master the Spanish language each year.

Marilyn loved her children, grandchildren, and extended family more than anything. She spent her free time gardening, working on home improvement projects, attending sporting events, and traveling. Her favorite destination was Costa Rica, where she took several groups of students over the years to introduce them to a culture and people she loved.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, William T. Pritchard and Evelyn E. Pritchard (Weaver), her sister Suzanne Newell Wenner (Pritchard), and her former husband, Rev. Jack E. Keeler.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren, Jonathan D. Keeler (Jennifer) and Anna and Sydney Keeler of Hummelstown, PA, Erin Stellar (Billy) and Ian Stellar of Kulpmont, PA, and Stephanie Keeler (Jake Davis) of South Williamsport, PA, as well as several close cousins, nieces, and nephews.
