Marlene Hale, 85, of Elysburg, passed away on March 31, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Hazleton on October 16, 1940, the daughter of Carl and Emma (Paisley) Hale.

Marlene was a graduate of Hazle Township High School, class of 1956. She furthered her education at Bloomsburg University and worked as a paralegal for an attorney.

She was a member of Faith UCC Church, Hazleton.

Marlene is survived by two daughters, Debbie Elliott and Sharon Zboray-Thiel; a son, Bruce Zboray; grandchildren, Jordan and Chris; as well as her extended family and beloved dog, Buddy.

Funeral service will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
