Mount Carmel– Martha M. (Baker) Beaver, 94, formerly of 114 E. 4 ^th St., passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.

She was born in Mount Carmel on August 19, 1926, the daughter of Lee and Minerva "Minnie" (Peterson) Baker.

Martha attended Mount Carmel Area Schools and worked at Gallagher's Shoe Store in Mount Carmel and Triangle Shoe Store.

On August 23, 1947 in Mount Carmel, she married John Richard Beaver, who preceded her in death on January 14, 1998.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, the Senior Citizen Action Club, and the Rambler's Club. She was a very good mother and homemaker.

Martha is survived by a daughter, Barbara Hoffman and fiancé, Ron Blackledge of Riverside; a son, Jerry Beaver of Steelton; a grandson, Zack Knoll; and four granddaughters, Angelique Hoffman, Kalyn Hale and husband, Ryan, Sarah Beaver, and Kate Eitenmiller and husband, Bill; seven great grandchildren, Avana Atiyeh, Sonya Atiyeh, Clyde Eitenmiller, Minna Eitenmiller, Mason Knoll, Brinley Hale, and Grant Hale; as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Martha was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary (Beaver) Knoll; two brothers, Lee Baker and Charles Baker; and two sisters, Florence (Baker) Owens and Marie (Baker) Gallagher.

Martha M. Beaver, 94, of Mount Carmel – Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021, at C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine Street, Mt. Carmel, with Reverend Joan Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., Mt.
