Kulpmont – Mary C. (Arnoldin) Kolar, 97, of 1066 Chestnut Street, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at her home.

She was born at home in Kulpmont on July 2, 1924, the daughter of the late Louis and Barbara (Ferrari) Arnoldin.

Mary was a 1943 graduate of Kulpmont High School. She was a beautician and owner of a salon.

On May 10, 1947 in Kulpmont, she married Nicholas Kolar.

She was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels, Kulpmont, formerly St. Marys.  Mary was also a member of the American Legion and Kulpmont Senior Citizens.

Mary is survived by three sons, Louis Kolar and wife, Madeleine of Kulpmont, Nicholas Kolar Jr. and wife, Barbara of VA; and Robert Kolar of NY; a grandson, Stephen Kolar and wife, Chelsea; five granddaughters, Tara Cahak and husband, Michael, Katherine Morrison and husband, Jack, Tricia Kimball and husband, Kevin, Kelley Olsen and husband, Christopher, and Elizabeth Kolar; four great-grandsons, Nicholas Cahak, Jackson Kimball, Lincoln Cahak, and Reidar Olsen; three great-granddaughters, Tessa Morrison, Paige Morrison, and Kennedy Kimball; a sister, Louise Bennedetto and husband, Jack of Philadelphia; a sister-in-law, Zonia McCoy of MD; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Rita Wisniewski and husband, Tony, and Barbara Moleski and husband, Tom; a daughter-in-law, Lori Lehner-Kolar; a brother-in-law, John McCoy; and a nephew, Alex Wisniewski.

Mary C. (Arnoldin) Kolar, 97 of 1066 Chestnut Street, Kulpmont - Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11:00 am, in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont with Father Andrew Stahmer, officiating and Deacon Tom Moleski, co-celebrating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Kulpmont. Viewing will be held Monday, November 29, 2021, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at in C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 1053 Chestnut St., Kulpmont, PA 17834, Malcom C. Farrow IV, Supervisor and Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 9:30 am until the time of service at the church.  Family requests all attendees wear a mask.
