Kulpmont - Mary Colleen LaCrosse, 65, of 1423 Chestnut Street, died Monday, December 11, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Washington, DC on June 5, 1952, she was the daughter of the late John Anthony and Mary Frances (Scarlett) Fox.  She was a 1970 graduate of DuValHigh School in Lanham, MD.

Colleen loved her profession as a Case Management Supervisor with Drug and Alcohol Program, Northumberland County where she worked for fourteen years.

Colleen loved her main job as Mom to four girls, three granddaughters and two grandsons. When she sent the last daughter to grade school she entered college and pursued a Communications Degree with a minor in Philosophy. She graduated from Bloomsburg University in 1994 with honors.

Colleen had an amazing sense of humor and loved to laugh. The family extends their appreciation to all who cared for Mary in life and death.

Survivors include four daughters, Jennifer Gilroy and her husband Anthony of Indian Head, MD; Valerie LaCrosse of Kulpmont; Christina LaCrosse of Kulpmont and Nicole LaCrosse of Shamokin; three granddaughters, Kasey Paige Seger, Lillie Gilroy and Rilynn Fallat, two grandsons, AJ Gilroy and John Gilroy; one sister, Sheila Fox of Milford, CT and one brother, Kevin Fox of Owings Mills, MD as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Michele Anne Fox.
