Mary (Saladonis) Morea, 98, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 of the Coronavirus.

Mary was born on October 9, 1922 in Ranshaw, Pennsylvania to Josephine (Covaleski) and Bolislav Saladonis.

In November of 1941 she was married to Joseph Morea and lived in Woodside, NY for many years before returning to Shamokin after his death in the late 1980s.

Mary worked for the Bulova Watch Company and the United States Postal Service before she retired. She enjoyed playing pinochle, crocheting hand crafted creations for her family, reading, doing her puzzles, and watching her stories.

She is survived by her sons Joseph, of Florida, and Dominick,  of Maryland, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents,  her husband,  and her  siblings, Victoria Dennis, Vincent Snipko, Joseph Saladonis, Julia Schwirzben, Lottery Haude, Michael Saladonis, Dave Saladonis, Jean Rovito, Clara Parker and Leona Rusinovich.
