Atlas – Mary Ellen Mostik, 60, of 491 W. Saylor St., passed away on July 5, 2021 at her residence.

She was born in Danville on June 25, 1961, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Mekosh) Mostik Sr.

Mary Ellen enjoyed going to Knoebel's and riding the train. She loved parties, family gatherings, shopping at Wal-Mart and going out to eat. When going places Mary Ellen always fancied wearing a hat. She cherished her time spent with her family and friends.

Mary Ellen is survived by her brother, Kevin Mostik and wife, Kara of Paxinos; three nephews, Kevin Mostik II of Hershey, Kyle Mostik of Hershey, and Frank Mostik III of Diamondtown; two nieces, Stephanie Lubeskie of Coal Twp. And Nicole Jilinski and husband, Robert of Irish Valley; a great nephew, Cole Jilinski; a great niece, Carly Lubeskie; sister-in-law, Lori Mostik of Coal Twp.; and two aunts, Anna Budraitis of TX and Helen Ruger of NY. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Frank Mostik Jr.

Mary Ellen Mostik, 60, of 491 W. Saylor St., Atlas – Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 11 a.m. in Divine Redeemer Church, 300 West Ave., Mt. Carmel, PA with Father Ryan Fischer officiating. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. Viewing will be held prior to the mass from 9 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. in the C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mt. Carmel, PA 17851, C. J. Lucas IV, Supervisor.
