Kulpmont – Michael D. Procopio, 45, of 1217 Chestnut Street, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at his residence with loving family at his side.

He was born in Danville on January 10, 1976, the son of Anthony and Betty (Bressi) Procopio.

He was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels.

Michael is survived by his mother, Betty Procopio; his sister and brother-in-law, Gloria J. Gerrity and husband, Francis; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tony Procopio and wife, Denise and Joe Procopio and wife, Ann; as well as many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Procopio.

To know Michael was to know a beloved person whose smile brightened everyone he met. Michael loved playing cards, visiting with his buddies at the St. Francis Club, watching football and watching out for his mom! Michael was known as the unofficial mayor of Kulpmont wheeling around town or sitting on the bench with his friends. He was beloved by many and changed lives because of his mere presence among us. He brought so much joy to many and we are all heartbroken with his passing. We bid him farewell and say "until we meet again" rest in peace.

Michael D. Procopio, 45, of 1217 Chestnut Street, Kulpmont – Funeral Service will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being cared for by C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 1053 Chestnut St., Kulpmont, PA, Malcom C. Farrow IV, Supervisor. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Michael may be sent to Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont, PA 17834.
