Kulpmont – Michael W. Terry, 76, passed away March 29, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born on February 26, 1946 in Danville, the son of Joseph and Florence (Ulanovich) Terry.

Michael worked at the Shamokin Shoe Factory and Checker Battery Manufacturing and Service Co., Kulpmont. He was a member of Church of the Holy Angels.

He was a life-long resident of Kulpmont who loved his town. Michael had an uncanny memory and interest in history, and was the unofficial historian on information about his family and the Kulpmont area. He was an avid member of the Elysburg Gun Club and enjoyed attending events there. On the weekends he would often visit Knoebel's to watch the entertainment at the bandshell.

Michael is survived by two sisters, Jane Senteio of FL and Mary Ann Kostenbader of Bethlehem; a niece, Gloria (Senteio) Caufield of FL; a nephew, Albert Senteio of Shermans Dale; as well as many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joseph Terry Jr.

A Graveside Service will be held on September 13, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Marion Heights. Arrangements are in care of C. J.
