Mount Carmel – Mildred "Mim/Misty" Mulcahy, 89, of 110 N. Chestnut St., passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 at her residence.

She was born in Mount Carmel on June 12, 1932, the daughter of Samuel and Henrietta "Etta" (Buehler) Teufel.

Mildred worked as a waitress for many years. While living in Maine she worked in medical records at a hospital.

On March 12, 1976 in Muncy Valley, she married John P. Mulcahy Sr., who survives. Together they shared 45 years of marriage.

Mildred was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Mt. Carmel. She enjoyed gardening and planted a ½ acre garden by hand which she lovingly tended.

Mildred is survived by her husband, John P. Mulcahy Sr.; three daughters, Robin Coombs and husband, Clifford, Denise, and Jean Blackagle; a son, Robert Coppick and wife, Doris; a step-daughter, Helene; two step-sons, John Mulcahy Jr. and wife, Eileen, and Joseph Mulcahy; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Jean Marie; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and four brothers.
