Kulpmont - Nancy L. Kerris, 81, of 144 Colorado Circle passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital, Danville.

Born in Mount Carmel On June 6, 1936, she was the daughter of the late John A. and Anna (Pesarchick) Boylan.  Nancy was a 1954 graduate of Mount Carmel Catholic High School.

Nancy was employed at Geisinger Medical Center as a licensed practical nurse in the ENT clinic.  She was also a devoted wife and mother.  She was active in many organizations related to schools, youth sports and community activities and the church.

On July 28, 1962 in Church of Our Lady she married Daniel Kerris, who survives.

She was a member of the Church of Our Lady and the Altar Rosary Society.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Daniel A. Kerris and his wife Jacqueline of Kulpmont; a daughter, Diane Kerris of Florida; four grandchildren, John Daniel Kerris of Kulpmont, Sarah Fazio of Florida, Ryan Kerris of Kulpmont and Ella Kerris of Kulpmont; brother-in-law, Robert J. Kerris and his wife, Maria of Elysburg; two nephews, Robert Kerris and his wife Susan of Elysburg and David Kerris and his wife Beth of Hummelstown; one niece, Debra Reed and her husband Don of Newtown Square and several cousins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Tomtishen and her husband, Leonard and a baby brother, John Boylan.

Nancy L. Kerris, 81, of 144 Colorado Circle, Kulpmont - Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 1:00 pm  in Church of Our Lady, 47 South Market Street, Mount Carmel with Father Francis Karwacki, officiating.  Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.  Viewing will be held Tuesday from 11:30 am - 12:45 pm with Vigil Prayers at 12:00 noon in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc, 27 North Vine Street, Mount Carmel, C.J. Lucas IV, Supervisor.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Regional School, 2001 Clinton Avenue, Coal Township, PA 17866.
