Norman P. Williams Sr., 75, of Mt. Carmel, PA, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 13, 2025.

Norman was born in Chester, PA, on September 10, 1949, to Gordon N. Williams Sr. and Theresa E. (Stabinski) Williams of Mt. Carmel, PA.

Norman was a graduate of Dupont High School in Wilmington, DE. In 1967, he moved to Mount Carmel, where he has resided until the present. He last worked and retired from Paper Magic as a Shift Supervisor and Mechanic. Prior to that, he worked at William Penn Breaker and in various other occupations.

Norman was formerly a member of the United Methodist Church in Mount Carmel and, most recently, a member of the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. He was a member of the Clover Hose Company, the Mount Carmel VFW, and the American Legion. He enjoyed camping at J & D Campground and spending time with his kids and grandkids. Norman was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins, Florida State Seminoles, Mt. Carmel "Red Tornadoes" football, and Nascar "Tony Stewart". He enjoyed watching the Honeymooners and old John Wayne westerns. He enjoyed singing and dancing and did a few stints of "Weekend at Bernie's" on special occasions. He was a very witty "Wise Guy" who always had a good comeback!

Norman is survived by his son, Robert J. (Heather) Williams of Paxinos; a daughter, Tammy L. Puchalski of Shamokin; a son, Richard P. Stelma; a step-daughter, Stephanie (Thomas) McDonald of Mt. Carmel; a brother, Robin (Margaret) Williams of Mt. Carmel; two sisters, Karen A. Harris of Mt. Carmel and Theresa L. "Tee" (Paul) Kofskie of Marion Heights; a brother, Gordon N. Williams Jr. of Diamondtown; a brother, Timothy C. (Frances) Williams of Gettysburg; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one on the way due in August; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and his longtime companion, Christine Mclaughlin of Mt Carmel.

In addition to his parents, Norman was preceded in death by a son, Norman P. Williams Jr.; a daughter, Valerie A. Williams; paternal grandparents, Norman E. Williams and Madeline E. Williams; and maternal grandparents, Napoleon P. Stabinski and Stanislawa Stabinski.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, at 7 p.m. with Msgr. Francis Karwacki officiating in the C J Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine Street, Mt. Carmel, PA, C. J. Lucas IV, Supervisor. Viewing will be held on Friday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service in the funeral home.
