Coal Township - Olga Rose Barnia, 87, formerly of Kulpmont died Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Mountain View a Nursing & Rehab Center.

Born in Kulpmont on March 22, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Fedock) Barnia. She was educated in the Woodrow Wilson Grade School in Kulpmont and was a lifelong resident of Kulpmont.

She was a member of the Patronage of the Mother of God Church in Marion Heights and the Kulpmont Senior Action Center.

Olga always was happy and had a smile for everyone. She loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include a sister, Helen Klimkoski and her husband Andrew of Terrivill, CT; four nieces, Helen Petrovich and her husband Stanley of DE; Lorraine Larson of CT; Evelyn Delvecchio of CA; and Karen Giffing and her husband Jim of MD; four nephews, Stanley Brown of Easton; Michael Brown and his wife Sandy of DE; Andy Klimkoski and his wife Cindy of CT; and Bruce Klimkoski and his wife Donna of CT as well as several great nieces, great nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five sisters, Mary Krafchick and her husband John, Julia Wychack and her husband Bill, Anna Duran and her husband Chester, Nancy Gutowski and her husband Tony and Eva Brown and her husband Stanley, a nephew-in-law, Don Larson and a niece-in-law, Lois Brown.

Olga Rose Barnia, 87, formerly of Kulpmont - Divine Liturgy will be celebrated Monday, January 22, 2018 at 1:00 pm in Patronage of the Mother of God Church, 155 Melrose Street, Marion Heights with Father Mykola Ivanov, officiating.  Burial will be in the Patronage of the Mother of God Cemetery, Marion Heights.  Viewing will be held Monday from 11:30 am - 12:45 with Panakhyda at 12:15 pm in the C.J.
