Elysburg - Patricia M. (Wasilewski) Mensch, 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 11, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born February 17, 1938, along with a twin brother, into a Catholic Family. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ann (Gudojtis) Wasilewski.

Patricia married Kermit Mensch July 1967, in St. Casimir's Church, Kulpmont. He preceded her in death in 1982.

She was a member of the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church in Elysburg. She was a loving wife and mother to three children whom she devoted her life to. She always had her children's best interest at heart.

Mom was always laughing, smiling, and enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved going to Knoebel's with us, going to different shopping malls, going to restaurants or just going for a drive. She also loved being in her home, working on puzzles, crocheting, knitting, watching TV, and playing cards. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren, who she loved dearly. Her home was the gathering place for holidays and special occasions, she loved it when her family was together at her home. She had given us so many special memories that we will cherish forever. It is so comforting for her family knowing she is in Jesus' loving arms and that she will be reunited with her husband, our loving Dad.

Patricia is survived by a son, Gary Mensch of Elysburg; daughter, Sandra McCollum and husband, Thomas of Shamokin; son, Joseph Mensch and wife, Heather of Catawissa; grandson, Albert James Mensch; granddaughter, Victoria Mensch; two brothers, Jack Wasilewski and wife, Joan of Watsontown and her twin, Vince Wasilewski and wife, Cynthia of Kulpmont; two sisters, Mary Concitis and husband, Edward of NJ and Elizabeth Kandrot and husband, Albert of Elysburg; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Patricia was preceded in death by a brother, Joe; and two sisters, Helen and Anne.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Patricia M. Mensch, 83, Elysburg – Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. in the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church, 599 W. Center St., Elysburg, PA 17824, with Father Joseph Scanlin officiating. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. Viewing will be held prior to the service from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. in C.
