Paul J. White, 87, of Marion Heights, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Grandview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Danville.

Born in Marion Heights on April 28, 1937, he was the son of the late John White and Jeanette Tenarchick.

Paul attended Marion Heights grade school, and graduated from Kulpmont High School with the class of 1954.

He worked at Fleetwood Motor Homes in Paxinos in the woodworking mill. He was in the US Army Reserves and was discharged in 1966.

Paul was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels in Kulpmont. He was a lifelong member of both the Marion Heights Fire Company and the Mount Carmel Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed shooting pool and was known as one of the best pool shooters in the area. He enjoyed watching football and baseball and was a fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and the Philadelphia Eagles.

He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his nieces and nephews. When the Marion Heights Fire Company had its ambulance service, he was an ambulance driver and served as a medic.

Paul was a likable man who was always ready to help anyone in their time of need, and he will be missed dearly.

Paul is survived by a brother, John P. White and wife Patricia of Kulpmont; a sister, Theresa A. White of Marion Heights; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Anascavage and Jeanette Smith.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11 a.m. with Father Andrew Stahmer officiating in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott St., Kulpmont. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Marion Heights. Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with transferal prayers at 10 a.m. in the C J Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 1053 Chestnut St., Kulpmont.
