Mount Carmel- Pearl Elizabeth (Weikel) Albot, 92, passed away June 4, 2022 at Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.

She was born in Mount Carmel on May 1, 1930, the daughter of Sydney Weikel and Dorothy Kerstetter.

Pearl attended Mount Carmel High School and was a lifelong resident of Mount Carmel. She worked for Shamokin Shoe Factory for 11 years and Ashland Shirt Factory for 21 years.

On April 20, 1963, she married Elwood L. "Boss" Albot, who passed away February 1, 2007.

Pearl was a member of Saint Steven's Episcopal Church, Mt. Carmel. She enjoyed dancing.

Pearl is survived by a close family friend, Ron C. Weaver of Mt. Carmel; two nieces; and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Stewart Weikel, who passed away at age 10; and a sister, Virginia Miller.
