Atlas - Randy Earl Moyer, 21, of 330 East Saylor Street, died Friday, December 22, 2017.

Born in Pottsville on July 27, 1996, he was the son of Kimberly (Mervine) and Edward Minnig. Randy was a 2014 graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School.

Randy was employed as a heavy and highway construction worker for the local union #158. He was also employed with Tri-State Envelope.

He enjoyed attending Numidia Dragway, camping and hanging out with friends and family.

Randy was a active member of the Atlas Fire Company #1.

In addition to his parents, Randy is survived by a brother, Austin Minnig of Atlas; a sister, Azaria Moyer of Minersville; a maternal grandmother, Ginger Mervine and significant other Louise Onorofsky of Frackville; paternal grandparents, Ed and Denise Minnig Sr. of Atlas ; two uncles, Henry Mervine and significant other Jen Zimmerman of Orwigsburg and Mike Minnig and his wife Ann of Atlas; two aunts, Lynn Lentes of Ashland and Diane Brown and her husband Robert of Cressona; one cousin, Hunter Minnig; and a maternal great grandmother, Grace Jones of Ashland. Randy was preceded in death by a grandfather, Henry Mervine; a maternal great grandfather, Lester Jones; and a paternal great grandmother, Betty Barletta.

Randy Earl Moyer, 21, of 330 East Saylor Street, Atlas - Relatives, friends and neighbors are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 8:00 pm in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 27 North Vine Street, Mount Carmel with Reverend Joan Brown officiating.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 until the time of service in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 27 North Vine Street, Mount Carmel, C.J.
