Mount Carmel - Raymond Cristan, Sr. 91, of 129 Beaverdale, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Shamokin on July 16, 1926, he was the son of the late Emilio & Emma (Dalpiaz) Cristan. Raymond was a  lifelong resident of Mount Carmel Township.

On January 3, 1952, in St. Stanislaus Church, Coal Township, he married the late Eleanor Anzulewicz.  Raymond was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time at his cabin.  His favorite time was spent with family and friends.

Raymond was a member of Divine Redeemer Church.

He is survived by three sons, Raymond Cristan Jr. and his wife Cathie of Elysburg, Ronald Cristan and his significant other Anettia Meredith of TN and Robert Cristan and his significant other Jackie Church of WI; three grandsons, Richie Cristan and his wife Keron of KT, Jason Cristan and his significant other Jen Fink of Elysburg, Robbie Cristan and his wife Tonya of AL; a granddaughter, Jennifer Frost and her husband Robby of AL; three great grandsons, Nathan Cristan, Caden Frost and Dale Cristan; three great granddaughters, Audrey Cristan, Kate Cristan and Addison Frost; two sister-in-laws, Millie Rota of Shamokin and Florence Verarchick and her significant other Earl Kissinger of Pottstown; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard Meredith.

Raymond Cristan, Sr., 91, of 129 Beaverdale, Mount Carmel - Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:30 am in Divine Redeemer Church, 300West Avenue, Mount Carmel with Father Martin O. Moran III, officiating, everybody is invited to attend Mass. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.
