Mount Carmel - Rena C. Angeli, 75, of 315 South Hickory Street, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville where she was a patient for one day.

Born in Ashland on June 16, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Mary (Buck) Hornberger.

She was employed at Gold Star Nursing Home in Shenandoah and Mount Carmel Nursing Home as a Nurse, she retired approximately 10 years ago.

On August 20, 1988 in Mount Carmel she married the late David Angeli, who preceded her in death on October 15, 2006.

She attended school in Mount Carmel and Danville School of Nursing.

Survivors include one brother, Ray Hornberger and his wife Terri of Mount Carmel; two sons, Jack Shannon and his wife Atsuko of Tampa, FL; and Ken Shannon of Northumberland; one daughter Patty Robbins of Clermont, FL; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one nephew.

Rena C. Angeli, 75, o 315 South Hickory Street, Mount Carmel - Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 27,2 017 at 11:00 am in C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 27 North Vine Street, Mount Carmel with Father Francis Karwacki, officiating.  Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel Twp.  Viewing will be held Friday morning from 10:00 until the time of service in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 27 North Vine Street, Mount Carmel, C.J.
