Mount Carmel – Robert D. Polinski, 62, of 233 S. Locust St., passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at Geisinger Shamokin Area Community Hospital.

He was born on March 26, 1958 in Shamokin, the son of Andrew and Ann (Sarisky) Polinski.

Robert was a 1976 graduate of Mount Carmel Area High School.

He was a member of Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, formerly Holy Cross Church.

Robert is survived by his mother, Ann Polinski of Mt. Carmel; sister, Elaine Polinski of Mt. Carmel; aunt, Marie Gabriele of Swathmore; as well as many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Polinski; son, David Polinski; and several aunts and uncles.

Robert D. Polinski, 62, of 233 S. Locust St., Mt. Carmel – Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at C. J. Lucas Funeral Home Inc., 27 N. Vine St., Mt. Carmel with Father Francis Karwacki officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mt. Carmel. Viewing will be held in the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
