Mount Carmel – Rose Marie (Dorkoski) DiFrancesco, 87, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Mount Carmel Senior Living Community.

She was born in Mount Carmel on July 18, 1933, the daughter of the late John and Cecilia (Dorkoski) Sincavage.

Rose was a 1951 graduate of Mount Carmel High School. She worked as a laborer for Universal Packaging and Kraft Food s.

On August 22, 1953 in Mount Carmel, she married Richard P. DiFrancesco, who preceded her in death in 1983.

Rose was a member of Divine Redeemer Church and a long-time member of the Choir. She loved spending time with her family and was a devoted friend to many especially, in recent years, her fellow residents and caregivers at Mt. Carmel Senior Living Community.

Rose is survived by her son, Richard J. DiFrancesco and wife, Joanne of Selinsgrove; two daughters, Roseann McGarvey and husband, Howard "Trip" of Lebanon, and Richelle Deysher and husband, David of Lebanon; four grandsons, Casey McGarvey, Nathan Deysher, Matthew Deysher, and David Deysher; three granddaughters, Jenna DiFrancesco and husband, Karolis Stribinskis, Alyssa Casacci and husband, Brad, and Erin Frantz and husband, Tyler; a great-grandson, Foster Frantz; two great-granddaughters, Fynlee Frantz and Francesca Stribinskis; a sister, Patricia Sincavage; three brothers-in-law, Joseph DiFrancesco and wife, Nancy, Benedict DiFrancesco and wife, Denise, and Russell Federico; and five sisters-in-law, Joan DiFrancesco, Jean Stellar, Beverly Sincavage, Carmella DiFrancesco, and Ann DiFrancesco. In addition to her husband and parents, Rose was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Benedict DiFrancesco and wife, Anna (Rossi); a brother, Robert Sincavage; three brothers-in-law, John Stellar, Emiddio DiFrancesco, and Anthony (Bronx) DiFrancesco; five sisters-in-law, Domenica Federico, Lena Wynne and husband, Martin, Julie Pitello and husband, Bob, Mary J. Stellar and husband, Bernard, and Dora DiFrancesco.

FUNERAL NOTICE

Rose Marie (Dorkoski) DiFrancesco, 87, Mount Carmel – Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on March 18, 2021 in Divine Redeemer Church, 300 West Ave., Mt. Carmel, with Father Ryan Fischer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Mt. Carmel Twp. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Divine Redeemer Church, 438 W. Ave., Mt. Carmel, PA 17851.
