Kulpmont - RoseMarie Pollock, 80, formerly of Kulpmont passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Shamokin on February 6, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Josephine (Radziewicz) Purcell. She attended school in Coal Township.

She was a resident of Pottstown until 1977 when she moved to Kulpmont.

Rose Marie had most recently been employed at Turkey Hill in Kulpmont; prior to that she was employed at Shroyer's dress factory in Shamokin.

On May 28, 1960 in St. Stanislaus Church, Shamokin she married the late Robert Alex Pollock who preceded her in death on March 16, 2004.

She was a member of the Church of the Holy Angels, formerly a member of St. Casimir's Church and a member of the Kulpmont Senior Citizens. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include five children, Cynthia Pollock of Steelton; Robert Pollock of Kulpmont; Cathleen Murray and her husband Jon of Auburn; Stephen Pollock and his wife Chris of Minnesota; and Karen Mroz and her husband Joseph of Elysburg; three grandsons, Colton Pollock of Shamokin; Ty Murray of Auburn and Joseph Robert Mroz of Elysburg; two brothers, Frank Purcell of Shamokin; Donald Purcell of Sunbury; two sisters, Rita Laurer of Carlisle; and Dorothy Segedy of Shamokin.   In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by five brothers, Clement, Raymond,  Edward, John and Eugene Purcell and two sisters, Theresa Cibrowski and Mary Ann Purcell

RoseMarie Pollock, 80, of 1034 Spruce Street, Kulpmont - Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 11:00 am  in the Church of the Holy Angels, 855 Scott Street, Kulpmont with Father Andrew Stahmer, officiating.  Burial will be in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Marion Heights.  Viewing will be held Tuesday morning from 9:30 - 10:45 with transferal prayers at 10:00 in the C.J. Lucas Funeral Home, Inc., 1053 Chestnut Street, Kulpmont, C.J.
